Finally took Boo out of her tank for her first handling, and boy it was worth the wait She is so calm, and just loves to sit in my hand. She is a little headshy, but after gently petting her head a few times she gets used to how it feels, and doesn't mind it at all. She almost gets like a cat and rubs her head against my finger :p I was going to feed her tonight but I had such an incredibly busy day today with Freshman Orientation and enrolling for classes and stuff, I had no time for anything. I'm going to have to hold off on a feeding until Sunday as that is the least busy day I have this week.

I'm so proud of you for waiting - that's the hard part. I'm sure it will pay off as she has had time to get settled in. Let us know how her first feeding goes.

Glad it went well. It's still fun when they hiss and ball up, but more enjoyable for you both if the snake is relaxed.
