Re: Updated Photos of Pastel x Bumblebee het Clown clutch
The pictures look pretty decent to me. I especially like the shot of the first Pastel. Nice looking clutch.

They did turn out fairly well, but there is a very appealing orange coloration that they all have that the camera just can't seem to capture, granted I am using my smartphone to take the pictures.

I'm not a particularly good photographer, but I suspect that if you're getting photos that look that good with a phone camera, you'll get more of an improvement by using a better camera than you will by changing the lighting and stuff. You can also just try to color correct them afterward so they look more like they do in real life, but that's easier said than done sometimes, too!
The other thing that makes a surprisingly big difference is a tripod. You don't realize how unsteady your hands are, until you see the difference when the camera is really stable! The tripod also helps with lighting, because lower lighting requires a slower shutter speed (the camera knows that automatically) but that means that the tiny movements of your hands make the picture less sharp.
That said, if you're using daylight through windows to take your photos, I know it's really hard to get consistent results unless you do it at the same time of day all the time, and even then the light changes with the weather and the seasons and so on. I have something like this that I got for cheap from Amazon, and it does the job (although I'm photographing other products, not snakes): http://www.amazon.com/LimoStudio-Pho...or+photography
I actually keep them hanging upside down from the ceiling pointing at my cutting table, and I pull down a backdrop on the table when I need to take photos.
But anyway, that's a gorgeous bunch of babies! Congrats!
