My first feeding

Ijust got my BP 3 days ago and was getting a bit worried about feeding him,with all the horror stories of them not eating and all and not knowing what the hell i was really doing didn't make for a good combo. I found this site and read posts and replies for hours!!!!! I must thank everyone in here for such a great web site and having ALL the info i could ever need.
My very first attempt at feeding was a success!!!!
took him about 2 min. to hit it. Thanks again to everyone at this site for helping this "newbie" figure it out.

Cool! You should be glad that after only 3 days of settling in he took it. Most people try to let the snake settle in for a week, then try feeding it. Then if thats successful, handling can begin for short periods of time a few days after the feed. I just got my first bp today. I don't know how I'm gonna resist the temptation for a week. :shock:

Anyway, congrats on the successful feed. Any questions you have, of course don't hesitate to ask. And of course, Welcome to the site! This place is the best.

Congrats on your success! Please remember not to handle him for two days after feeding, and preferably more than that since he didn't have a full week to acclimate.
