    Pinkish neck area?

Today i woke up and saw my baby ball python exploring his cage and I noticed his neck area was a very light pink, Why? I've been monitoring temps like crazy making sure it doesn't go up more than 92 and the heat pad is regulated. Is it a burn? Im worried about him.

Need the pics to make a determination. 92f is a tad high, can you dial down the thermostat a degree or two? What's the other husbandry numbers? Cool side, warm side and humidity percentage? The pics will be very important though. Good luck.

Could it be hes about to shed?? His temps are perfect at 88 and 89 they almost never reach 92

92 is not a tad high for a basking/warm spot.

Hard to tell from the pics. It doesn't look like a burn though. I would think shedding. Can you get better pics ? Maybe a closer shot?

    Re: Pinkish neck area?

So its been a week since i started this thread and i was worried about my ball python being burned or if he was going to shed. Well he turned white during the week again like normal and now he turned a bit pink again, is it normal? Temps are prefect for a ball python.
