Just keep damp spaghnum moss in the hides and don't worry about the humidity of the rest of the tank. The humidity in the hide will be good and snakes spend the majority of their time in the hide.
Wet the moss, let it dry out, and then remoisten. Once he shows signs of being in shed, keep the moss damp all the time.

I live in pretty much a desert but damp moss around the tank is helping as well. Also keeping get water full.

Cover that screen top with plexiglass. Your humidity problem will go away.

It's actually fairly cheap and is available at your local hardware store. I used to have plexiglass covered top for my glass terrarium before I upgreded to PVC terrariums. The plexiglass works great.
