Pastel Super Stripe?
For the past two reptile expos I've been looking at this Pastel Super Stripe a local breeder is selling:
She hatched in September, so the first expo I saw her she was too young to handle, but I walked away from this one realizing I desperately want her.
I have the number for the breeder, but I was hoping to get some more info about the the morph and opinions on this girl overall. As the title says, she was listed as a "Pastel Super Stripe."

It s a pastel superstripe. The color is good but she is not full stripe. I hatched 3 in 2015 and just 1 boy as full stripe. Honestly its depend on the price, if you are looking for this special morph you can find better, if you are looking for a pet , i won t chose a pastel superstripe because they lose their colors a lot as they aged. If you already are in the YB complex and plan to breed, the specter gene is really amazing cleaning gene on his own. I now use it out of the superstripe project as it s brighter and cleaner than a YB. just avoid specter + fire in the same snake as it will be too wash out.
That s said : if you are planing on putting that girl with enchi, leopard, sugar or OD... out of the superstripe project she will be interesting. Still the pastel quality doesn t speack much in a superstripe ... so consider that pastel can ruin your combos if brown out ... we all have bad experience with that.
Myself, I hatched a super enchi citrus pastel really brown out at 4 months age, a firefly OD and a pastel OD YB whom should be terrific but brown out like crazy because of a bad pastel quality.
And last comment about this girl: he breeder doesn t feed her well or she is a bad eater as she should be over 300 gr if she hatched in september. but seems to be around 150gr on your pictures.

I think she is very nice. I do like full stripes, but then again, it is all up to what you like. If you love her, get her.

Re: Pastel Super Stripe?
Darkranger really summed it up but I think I would still like her in my collection. I would also think seriously about putting her with enchi yb. I would like to experiment with the specter gene too.

Almost forgot I made this thread, whoops. Glad I did tho, thanks, you guys! Anyone have any examples of how much their colors change as they age? All the pics I could find they seem to be a year old or less. Also what's considered a decent price range on this morph?
