Thanks guys
He is a sweet heart but my problem is he is use to eatting live and im not in nyc to be able to get him his jumbo cat looking rats because the rats in rhode island thats they sell are lg frozen rats im wondering how he would take it will it stress him out because of eatting frozen

hello everyone I need your help please on a carpet phyton
All seven of my snakes were live feeders only when I got them, four of them being Carpets. Previous owners swore up and down that they would only eat live. They all eat frozen now.
I believe that skipping a feeding attributed greatly to my success.

When I got my BRB I was told the same thing. He has been eating F/T for a good time now. I think some just don't do it right.

I agree with both the above posts. WAIT IT OUT and your snake will eat.
I have a 2.5 year old coastal mutt/mix that has taken a 1 pound F/T rabbit. You don't have to get hung up on one type of prey. I have found quail will be taken with great vigor by stubborn eaters and you could scent the F/T rat with quail to keep the rat streak going.
Give it time and you will see the conversion.
