Re: Fingers crossed
Yeah, mine are crossed too. I agree, looks like he got it right. Isn't it great to be in charge of a operation like breeding ball pythons? Lol. Wishing you the best looking hatchlings possible. Is that your male lesser to your spider clown ?

Thanks Albert! Yup, that little guy just kill my nerves. He's my first season Hypo Pastave '14 male who's around 750g, and now his with a proven spider female just for kickstarting. That spider female bred several times with my Lesser. The big Lesser boy have no problems, even with a garden hose. For the little guy I have just one female in that year, a virgin Phantom spider het OG, but they have just one "maybe lock" so far. He's my only Hypo/OG male, like this no way that I put that girl with an other boy.

Re: Fingers crossed
I'm having the same issue with my Leopard/Pin. He is just about 750 grams and is from June 2014. He could be big enough but so far I have only seen him cuddling, unless he is just fast (premature) and I have missed a lock. I have put him with my Pastave and planned to have him with one other female. However, I don't want to stress the little guy out and without seeing any locks, I don't know if there is any business getting done. Still plenty of time as I have not seen any real positive signs from the females they are close yet, no bowl wrapping or hanging on the cool side. So I'll wait a month or so and give the little guy another try.
On the other hand, I also have a 750 gram Lesser het Hypo and man he is all business. I've twice put him with my Enchi Hypo girl who is over 2000 grams and both times he's locked right away. I guess worse case scenario, I could pair him with the Pastave for a shot at some BeLs. Best of luck to you and your little man.

Re: Fingers crossed
Very nice pairing there. Hope you get the results you're trying for. My next pairings are going to be a pastel pied male to a pastel female and also my candino male to my albino female. Then my double het albino pied pair should be ready later on this season.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

I do exactly the same, or almost. I just separate that big spider girl from my lesser male, after a successful 24h+ lock, and I put right after the small male with her to push his buttons. If he cannot do the job, I'll wait 3-4 weeks for retry. I love Leo combos, so I wish the best for your little guy.
My my problem is that particular Phantom spider het OG female is a project animal, and I cannot put an other male with her. She eat voraciously, but no other signs yet, so I hope I have enough time to get the male breeding.

Thanks! I hope the best for you too with the pairings I'll cross even my hair too for your double het pair.

And win! I'm especially happy, cause that happened with the Phantom spider het OG female.
Snowy, rainy outside, maybe that helps. The female in blue, two other male's shed and a breeder female's shed together with them, and also two breeder male's hemipenal cast in her back. Just go little guy! I hope you'll be successful...
