Scales lifting on my baby Ball Pythons belly?
I got a baby Ball Python about 5 days ago and I took it out to handle him for a little bit and I noticed if I rubbed up on his belly that the scales would lift? He looks fine everywhere and he never tries to bathe like he has mites. Is this bad? He was acting healthy when I held him too, flicking his tongue and he looks fine overall. But the scales on his belly just kinda lift. I should also add that he did eat a frozen thawed mice 4 days ago. First time I fed him.

The belly scales are supposed to be able to lift. The scutes are how a snake crawls.

Alright, I just wanted to be sure. Thank you. I wasn't sitting there lifting his scales or anything, I just happened to notice it.

I would, but he's in his tree trunk hide right now and I can never get him out when he's in there. I kinda wanna change it so I can always have easy access to him. I just know it stresses them out.
