Appropriate quart size for breeding size female?

Title pretty much says it all, getting some nearly at 1500 grams so curious what a good size tub would be.

They could go into either a 32qt or a 41qt tub. A lot of people use 2000g as the cutoff before 41qts are a must, but others transfer at ~1500g. I've had some lighter females look cramped in a 32qt, and bigger females that liked feeling super snug, so your experience may differ for each snake. If you use 41qts and they stop eating, put a hide in to clutter up the tub or move them back into the 32qt.

I suppose the tubs depend on the size of the male as well - if the male is as big as or bigger than the female, you may want to pair them in a larger tub.

If you just bought breeding size females, ask the breeders what size tub they were kept in. That might save you some trouble with getting them started on food in your care.

28 quarts / 32 quarts is fine for a female that size.

I usually only house females 2000 grams and over in 41 quarts anything smaller than that lives and breed and 32 quarts tubs.
