Black it's okay??

So I decide to move my snake from his 10gal. Tank to a tub, now the tub is black. You can see inside and all but I was just wondering if black it's okay or I gotta get a clear one..

Black is fine. In fact, darker enclosures can make the snake feel safer. I've had small young ones that were once nippy mellow out after they were put in dark tubs back when I was breeding.

I really think they should have a day/night cycle, and black tubs don't allow that. They're nocturnal, not subterranean, and they regulate their behavior based on the rising and setting of the sun, like most living things.
