Okay, so...eyes cloudy on Friday, it is late Tuesday, and no signs of a shed. What the hay? I'm still waiting until this Friday to feed again, cause I don't want to get him off track. I have had him for about a month and a half, and he has not shed yet. So, I don't know when he is going to do that...

Any ideas? Or am I just going crazy?

Sometimes mine have taken almost a week later to finally shed. Dont stress out, it happens.

Yea .. if his eyes were blued over .. i would wait until he sheds before you try to feed him. Feeding during shed can cause undue stress at a very vulnerable time.

Ramona just shed---she started looking dull and had cloudy eyes about one week before she finally shed.

After Soph's eyes cloud it usually takes her about a week to shed as well....no worries! As Carson said, I'd wait to feed until he sheds.

    first snake

PROBLEM SOLVED!!! PERFECT SHED, YAHOO! Just checked the tank, and there was a wierd looking thing behind his hide that looked like a used condom. I was freaked out at first, thinking I might have left something in there. But it was his entire body shed. I don't want to handle him, but from the skin I took out, it was complete. I will probably wait on handling him until at least tomorrow night. He might have shed this morning, cause I only saw it when I took the top off his cage.

Congrats! Perfect shed. That's like a badge of honor to show your good husbandry.

Yeah I get the condom sheds every now and then too. I actually left one out rolled up that way I found it for my roommates (2 girls) to see, they were more than confused. They freak about about that stuff its pretty funny. Shed skins layin around the house and frozen rats in the freezer, gotta love it.
