Breeding question
If I bred a pied het axanthic with another pied het axanthic would I get possibly get a lightening pied? Would it be the same if it were an axanthic het pied? Also where could I find an adult female pied het axnathic or axanthic het pied? Its hard to find them :/

Re: Breeding question
Yes you would have a shot at Lighting Pieds either way.
Pied het Ax x Ax het Pied would be an ideal pairing.

Here's how it breaks down:
Pied het Ax to Pied het Ax
25% Pied
50% Pied Het Ax
25% Lightning Pied
Pied het Ax to Ax het Pied
25% Het Ax Het Pied
25% Pied Het Ax
25% Ax het Pied
25% lightning pied
In terms of getting the lightning pied, either will give you the same odds. The advantage do doing it the way Jon states is that you have no poss. hets. Everything is either visual or het, and everything will have both genes, whether their visual for it or not.
1.0 Josiah - Super Pastel het SK Axanthic
0.1 Abigail - Spider het SK Axanthic
1.0 Moqui - Pug - Rescued from a Meth lab
1.0 Winston - Min-Pin, Chihuahua, Dachshund mix, rescue
1.0 Buddha - Gray Tabby - baby of a neighborhood stray we took in
1.0 Precious(like the ring) - Siamese - Sister to above
