Okay, he didn't eat for the first time. I thought it was due to him getting ready to shed. However, that was Friday, and it is now Monday, and he has no other signs of shedding (considered his eyes getting cloudy on Friday). No pink belly, no skin coming off at the nose. I have raised the humidity in his tank using moss stuff from the reptile store. It keeps the humidity around 70 and above usually.
The next time I try to fed him will be on his regular day, Friday. Hopefully he will have shed by then, or he will eat. Or both of course.

Kind of concerned.
Did you try soaking him??? Pandora looks like she's going to start shedding soon... she had that weird little dent in her eye, but after i soaked her it went right away!

Maybe he's not hungry . Have you recently switched from mouse to rat? If so, it takes some time for their digestive tracts to get used to the larger prey. Its a good idea you are waiting till his regular day to feed. I wouldnt sweat it too much

Dude everything is fine. Their eyes only stay clouded for a short period of time, the fluid that is between the old cap and the new cap goes away. This means that your BP is going to shed at any time now. You would really be suprised at how sudden it may come.
The fact that he refused a meal during this time doesn't suprise me at all. I'm sure that they feel very uncomfortable during this time and will not make themselved vulnerable if they don't have to (eating).
Semperfi- My bp gets eye dents all of the time and she's not dehydrated. Its just a shed thing with some snakes; a dehydrated ball python is easy to pick out, and it doesn't sound like either of you are neglecting your snakes in any way.

she hasnt started shedding yet... the dented eye went away, but still no shed. she hasnt gotten cloudy eyes or pink belly and stuff.... so i dont know, do they usually start shedding without showing signs?? besides the dented eye??

what is your humidity like and how are you measuring it? Dented eye caps are usually a sign of too low humidity.

Those stickon thermometers are usually really off. That's why a lot of us use digital thermometers. They're much more accurate. Some people have used those stick on thermometers and noticed signs that their bp's were uncomfortable. Then someone here suggests they try the acurite digital thermometer/hygrometer, and they realize their temps were either way too high, or way too low, and humidity was off wack also.

yes, definitely get the acurite thermometer/hygrometer from walmart. pandora will thank you for it. i had NO IDEA how far off my temps and humidity actually were until i got it. well worth it at just $15.

Must get the Accurite (we should get some royalties for recommending it so much  ), it's well worth the investment and it's relatively inexpensive.
Also, the only time Sophie ever refused to feed was during a shed period. Her eyes had cleared but she hadn't shed yet, so I wasn't too concerned. After her eyes cleared it took almost a week for her to finally shed so I wouldn't worry too much.
