My GHI het red axanthic male has a very annoying habit. Apparently instead of balling up, he has decided pooping on me is a far better defense. The instant I pick him up his tail is waving in the air and he's threatening to do it. Does anyone else have a snake with this habit? I'd really like to handle him at some point, haha. And I need to get some better pictures of him. Is he going to grow out of pooping on me? It's almost funny, but seriously, I don't want to be covered in that. At least it's easy to get an empty weight on him...

My bumblebee used to do it when she was younger even to the point that I would have an old towel out every time I handled her haha she eventually just grew out of it.

I have a baby retic that does it. She's a brat about it too and cuts loose when she has a solid wrap on your arm, and then the tail comes up.

I just keep an old towel handy.

Haha, I've been keeping plastic grocery bags around when I take him out. Sometimes he even gets me two or three times in one handling session. Hopefully he grows out of this. If he doesn't, oh well. I can still breed him.
