    Another first timer here!

Never thought I would do it, but finally brought home a boa.

I fell in love as soon as I got to hold her at the shop. Super sweet and tame, easily handled, and she's just beautiful.

I will not be getting any others, will never breed her, she's just a pet.

    She's an anerythristic RTB.

    Re: Another first timer here!

I started with one ball python and between shedding and feedings it seemed that there wasn't much time that she could come out and entertain me. I got a Hog Island boa (which is a great, beautiful pet) and the two of them have almost identical schedules (shedding same time and feedings are close, quite often). So, it seems, I have to get more snakes to fill in the gaps when they are not able to be handled. You will find that you want more snakes as they are addictive and each type is unique in character, looks, etc.

I just realized I'm speaking to a bunch of enablers haha I'm already addicted to ball pythons. I won't have the space for more than one boa luckily.

Nice healthy looking Boa, and beautiful too!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
