    Manasa's new digs

Finally moved Manasa into her big-girl terrarium

A little taller than what I was looking for (18" as opposed to 12")as the store was out of stock, but at least this give more option for creative clutter without having to worry about her snuggling with the heat lamp.

Probably going to get a second lamp and drop the wattage on the bulbs, as well as double up one the vine (for it's whole length instead of just at the ends).

And since I had a freshly empty tank, and the TARAS fall expo was on here in Calgary this weekend ... Even though the wife thinks one snake is more than enough, I clearly had to take action.
What can I say? It's easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission ...

My new baby Abbotts Okeetee corn snake (please forgive me for my heresy)
I DID originally go the expo looking for a nice albino BP, but figured between the cost of an albino and a second herpstat, my wife really would kill me ... especially since she didn't know I planned to bring home another snake

    Very, very pretty corn.
I've been looking a lot at corns lately.
I'll have either a corn or a BP by mid-November (perhaps both).
