Might not be the fanciest solution, but I run a Zoomed Hygrotherm with a Reptifogger piped in through the top, have had 0 problems and 1 piece sheds with it for a year, a buddy has run the same setup on his BCI enclosures for years and sold me on it. I use it to control air temps and humidity with a separate thermostat for my UTH, as long as there is water in the bottle, the humidity and air temps are where I set them, and can bump it up when in shed. There is no need to mist, and my substrate keeps dry, but obviously won't replace a humid hide(my BP doesn't need one). Depending on humidity in the house the 1L tank lasts me a couple weeks to a month. Not ideal for racks, and more expensive than a water dish if your enclosure keeps ideal humidity without any work, but suits my setup well.

Just got back from the expo new addition is in his enclosure and temps and humidity are all good! In fact I'm going to put a few more ventilation holes because the humidity is actually around 99%.

Give it some time to even out. It's easier to add holes later than it is to cover them up.

Yeah I thought that too, but I have an extra lid so I will start adding some and if it drops too low I have a fresh lid that I can replace it with.

I bought that to purify the ambient air in the snake room, but perfect for the humidity too. Running with external timer 12h/day.

Regarding the DI water, what system do you use to get that? I'm currently running tap water in my room humidifier.

It will be better for you to start a new post with this question. This particular thread is a year and a half old.
