    Incense, candles, etc?

How far, ideally, should burning candles and incense be kept away from snakes and other reptiles? I do realize that the vast majority of snakes (if not all? I don't remember) only have one usable lung, so I don't want to compromise their sensitive respiratory systems by making the mistake of using them too close.

Is through two rooms with shut doors enough space? Sorry if this is a stupid question, haha. Just making sure.

Considering for the near future: IJ carpet and corn snake

I am not sure about insense but I use candles in the next room from my snake collection. To be honest, I never even thought about it. We have a corn snake in the room I actually burn candles in and we have had her for a while with absolutely no issues.
