    Good Read For A Newbie

My interest in getting a snake is still going strong. I know what I want , what cage I want etc etc. I am in Texas this week working. I bought and read in the four hour flight here Ball Pythons, the complete guide to pythons . A really good read for someone with no experience. I learnt a lot.

Any other her recommendations for a good read?

I'm a fan of David & Tracy Barker's book, Pythons of the World, Vol. II: BALL PYTHONS: The History, Natural History, Care, and Breeding.

Here's a link to the info page from their VPI Store: http://vpi.com/store/products/python...ing_in_usa_can.

Also, while not in book form, Colin Weaver has a TON of fantastic articles on the ECRB website: http://ballpythonbreeder.com/. They span in range from The Enigmatic Ball Python Appetite to Genetic Provenance, Insanity, and Spoiled Milk.
