i got my first snake today!! she's a bumblebee ball python and i got her from a breeder. she was balled up while we were in the car and when we came home she un-balled herself. she was tense but not balled up. as soon as i put her in her enclosure she started exploring everything. she still is actually! she also keeps looking at me. she yawned and the breeder said she was last fed sunday. why would she be yawning then? she is a year and nine months old and about two pounds. should i be worried about how she isn't shy? everything i've read said she should be more reluctant than she is. don't get me wrong i love it! i'm just worried there might be something going on. also should i be worried about how she yawned even though she ate two days ago?

You'll learn her personality and the way she behaves soon enough, until then let her settle in, no handling for a week or so until you know she's comfortable in her new environment! And yeah... BP's yawn! Every time I see Noodles doing it I honestly think it's absolutely adorable!
