    concerned

I was looking over my baby honeybee and I noticed a few cuts on his belly. One is pretty deep. All cuts are healing nicely. I know it was from when breeder cut the eggs open cause the cuts are clean not jagged. When I noticed I though he had some sort of split scale belly and thought awsome till I looked closer. Then I became a little upset when I noticed it was cuts. Not for sure if deep cut will affect bodily functions, digestion or what. Breeders please be careful when cutting eggs.

If it looks like a single slice running parallel to the body and about three quarters of an inch long and closer to the tail then the head, that is where the umbilicus was coming though the snake to the yolk sack. In other words, the belly button. It is natural and not a cut from the breeder. It will eventually close up entirely over time.

Took him back to hobbiest this morning and showed him the cuts. He told me he will clean up in a couple sheds, which I know from my normal getting bit. But as you mentioned it was the umbilicus
