    Possible Granite

The breeder i purchased my lesser pastel from threw in this "Granite" female into the deal.

I have no experience with granite, and from what I've read, i will need to prove her out.

I finally got some pics of her.

Is there any way to tell? Does she look granite? I'll be having fun proving her out!

I want to hear some other opinions, but either way, she was free and will be ready next year.

This is suppose to be a VPI Granite. She hasn't proven for me yet.

Would love to make one of these: Super Granite

    Thumbs down

It couldn't hurt to breed her but I don't really see any granite, but she was free so that's a bonus.

Here's my girl I got in 06'; she has yet to breed for me, I was hoping she would go this year, but no luck. She too was also sold as granite-ish and is not from a proven line.

Last time I caught here breeding in 2010.

If you had any granite, I'd imagine it'd be the VPI, though yours doesn't display the minimal speckling the VPI line has.

Here's the BP.net page on Granites.
    http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...144638-Granite

That should answer your question on what to look for in granites.

Here's my female genetic co-dom granite:
