Never active, not even at night
So I've had my ball for about two weeks. When I first got him, naturally, he was curious and exploring his surroundings of his new home - testing out both cold and hot sides, going in the hides, drinking from his water bowl, climbing, ect. That was for maybe the first three days. He's eaten twice with no problems, and when I've handled him he's very friendly and active. But whenever he's put back in the cage, he goes right to the warm side's hide, curls up, and stays there. I figured this was normal since they're nocturnal, but every day since, I've seen no signs whatsoever that he even leaves or moves at night. I stay up pretty late these days, usually about til 2AM, and the lights in my room are off so he knows it's night (I turn them off at ten). But I never see him come out anymore!
Is this a problem? I don't think he should be sleeping all day and all night for days and days, should he? I guess I don't know 100% for sure that he's not moving, because I do sleep, but I see no evidence that he moved about and every time I look at him he's in the same position, curled in that hide. Any suggestions? Should I do something?

What's your husbandry like? It may be he's not getting enough heat.
It just also be noted BPs are nocturnal, my girl doesn't come out until 4am

Re: Never active, not even at night
If the husbandry isn't the issue he could still just be adjusting. You've only had him for two weeks. Mine did the exact same thing. He eventually came out and now I often find him all over the place. He was one very scared and stressed out snake in the beginning. I also find that he likes to come out at about 3 or 4 in the morning to roam around. He could be coming out while you're sleeping. Check your temps though just so you can rule that out as a possible cause of him favoring his heat hide. I feel like he may just be adjusting.

Sounds normal to me.
I have not seen my BP out and about in ages and my Bloods are like pet rocks.
A hiding snake is a happy snake.
I wouldn't worry.

Re: Never active, not even at night
When I first got Louie he was a huge explorer scoping out every tiny thing and even digging around with his nose and climbing, the whole nine yards. That lasted about two weeks and now he's all settled in after two months, he's, as the guy above me said, a pet rock, lol. I love the expression! Cute scaly rock with eyes. I think it means they're just comfortable, given husbandry is all set and he's healthy! xx

Okay - good to know. I guess I just wondered why he changed behaviors, thought something might be wrong. Thank you for your answers!
And so no one worries, his temps are all where they should be, same with humidity. I have thermometers on both ends at all times

Re: Never active, not even at night
I had the same issue. I didnt see my BO for weeks because she hid constantly! So i actually stayed up or night just to see if she moved around much at night and she was. Literally nonstoo. Everyone I went to check on her she was in a different area if her tank. All my BP become active about 11pm, and they start heading to their hides for the day about 5am.
