    PVC enclosure temps

I am setting up my new PVC cage right now (36"X24"X18"). I have a 50 watt pro products RHP controlled by a herpstat 1. I currently have the probe situated on the cool side set at 80 degrees. The panel is holding the cool side right at 80 degrees beautifully but my warm side is only sitting at 84-85 degrees. Is this an acceptable range of temperatures or should I add something else to augment the RHP? Also would putting some rigid foam insulation under the cage help? Currently the cage is empty other than the heater and thermometer. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'll post pictures of my setup when it is finished.

I think that most people do better to have the probe under the RHP on the hot side and modulate that to the correct temps.
