Mopani Wood in the Vivarium?

I really like the look of Mopani woods, but I'm unsure if it's the right choice. Is it texturally and chemically safe for the vivarium, or should I just go with a branch? I really like the ZooMed sandblasted branches, but they're way expensive.

I had no idea what Mopani wood was so a googled it. Looks like ZooMed sells Mopani wood so I'm going to assume that it would be safe for terrariums. It is very porous so it's going to be a pain to clean. You can also get grape branches which are usually widely available.

For what it's worth, I have it in both of mine. Tucker has a small piece he rubs on to help shed and there is a larger piece in Siagi's viv to climb on. No ill effects in either. I've seen a lot of folks use it.
