Same, I get so relieved and proud every time they actually eat, with how picky they are. LOL. Oh these ball pythons.

This little golden garden king. (reptile-safe succulent: potted Portulacaria afra with no fertilizers) This stuff is safe for tortoises to munch on too.
Literally grown in a flat miniature landscape for the sole purpose of reptile photos. LOL.

Cake is too beautiful. I feel like I need to go buy an albino right now.

Seriously though, those are some extra nice pictures! His colors pop so well, and the greenery is beautiful too. Are you using a fancy camera?

    Beautiful snake, beautiful setting.
I love how the line of the heat pits lets imagine these guys are always smiling.

(Banish the anthropomorphising thought) Cake looks like he is having a good time.

Thaaanks, he is too cute for my heart. ;; LOL.
Yep, I used a Canon EOS 30D for these photos. I also have a Nikon D7000 that I use for some other photos, but I just... forgot to bring that camera to the garden at home for these.

Fancy cameras = where did my money go

Thanks- it does look like a smile! I love BP faces.
Cake was just trying his hardest to find a better hiding spot under the leaves. Oh dear.

Just a candid tub photo showing the actual colors of this little high-contrast boy. He is actually nearing shed too, so his colors would be even better in a couple weeks. This was right after his adult mouse meal tonight too, so he has that bulge in his belly.

Wow, between Cake and that fancy camera you are getting some spectacular photos!!

Great photos! I love that Blackout has a perfect pretzel marking on her side! Cake's color is just amazing.
