    Baking wood

Ok so i baked a piece of wood for 2 hours in my oven at 250 degrees Fahrenheit to make sure it is good to put in my snakes tub but i was wondering if i should put it in water to rehydrate it because it must have become dry after baking it? Or should i just leave it alone? Idk what would happen if i put it in water, would it warp or get moldy?

I've never done that myself but I think it would be fine the way it is. Like you said soaking it might make it become moldy later on. Not 100% sure though... xD

I baked some wood pieces during a mite infestation. You don't need to "rehydrate" it.
