    BP shed questions

This my BPS first shed, he went threw all the stages and I saw all the signs and have been watching hoping to see him shed. Today around 4pm he was doing circles in his hide rubbing his face against the inside of his hide. He got the skin peeled from his lips to right before his eyes. This was 8 hours ago and he has made no process at all. He has dead skIn on his head and neck but hasn't shed any more. His humidity had been upped to 70% at least since I noticed his milky eyes. Should I soak him in warm water or leave him be for a while? Any advice welcome please.

    Re: BP shed questions

I decides to soak him in warm water with a rough surfaced hide and swam then climbed on top of the hid rubbing the skin free and it has began to come off more in the last 5 minutes then the last 8 hours.

You should've just left him alone and let him do his own thing. By bathing him you washed away his natural oils that he'd use in order to shed. Because of that, he might have a very hard time shedding this time around. Next time just have patience and let him be a snake.

Your humidity is too low. Spend this time before your snakes next shed resolving that issue.

Do you have a dial humidity gauge?

If you have any moss I would make a humid hide
