I had an old thread on this same topic. My female was doing the same thing after a couple days after she shed and the answers I got where that a little piece of shed had gotten stuck in her nose causing the whistling. Has he recently shed? Do you see any bubbles or mucus around his mouth?
Could be loose shed on his nose or it could be like my snake and she just whistles for no reason. She's been doing it for three years now... You do want to make sure that there's no bubbles coming out of his nose or mouth. Those are sure signs of a respiratory infection.

There isn't any bubbles and I just got him yesterday and I'm the excitement of getting him forgot to ask how old he is, when his last shed was, and when he last ate. I am waiting to hear back from the store. I'll keep you guys updated on what I find out

Ok keep us updated. I would hold off handling or feeding him for about a week so it helps him get used to his new home.
So I haven't heard back from the shop yet but the whistling seems to have stopped. Lol I haven't been to good about the no handling so far but I'll do my best to restrain myself
