Dead egg stuck to good egg?

I have a dead egg that was a month old stuck to a good one. Do I just cut the bad egg off and leave a piece of it stuck to the good one?
This is my 3rd year breeding, and never had this happen?

    Thanks!

Re: Dead egg stuck to good egg?

Can you post a photo of the condition? I really don't know if that is the answer to cut away and leave part of the bad egg on the good egg. Sorry you had to go through this in any event.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

Re: Dead egg stuck to good egg?

I don't have a ton of breeding experience, but on my recent clutch I left a bad egg attached to the other eggs because I didn't want to hurt the good eggs by pulling it off. The bad egg didn't affect the others in any way and all of the good eggs hatched just fine.

I had one do the same last week. I uses dental floss and lightly pulled it loose. It also was only touching two eggs in small areas.
