    Dinnertime Challenger

This female is a 100% het VPI Axanthic. She has been off feed for about a month now, but she still likes to play games when the others are eating. A meal was offered of course after 2 weeks, and still a refusal... whats up with that? (Not a literal question)

SHE MAKES A RUN WHILE I'M REMOVING HER RAT

AND A CLOSE CALL, BUT CAUGHT... PHEW! I WAS EXPECTING A BITE, I DID STINK OF RAT AFTERALL..

EVEN AFTER THAT, SHE STILL HAD LEVERAGE AND MUSCLED OUT..

AFTER ALL THE PULLING AND WORKING HER OUT, I KEPT WITNESSING SOMETHING STRANGE THAT CAN ONLY OCCUR ONCE A YEAR..

SHE GOT TIRED OF ME TAKING AND CHALLENGED ME.. HELD THE POSITION DOWN FOR FIVE MINUTES!

I MADE HER REALIZE ALL SHE WANTED WAS TO GO BACK HOME

Now you might be asking yourself what ive been hinting at, or you may already know.. During every struggle she put up, I could feel 5 or 6 follicles or eggs. She does look bigger than usual, and as of her last weighing she was 2098g.

Whats strange is that I have not paired her since she has been under my care, so this is going to be interesting what we may get!

Crossing my fingers for more Axanthic!!

That's a funny story. She sure is a beautiful big girl. Good job getting her back in.

    How long is she?

Strange, when I saw the first pic, I immediately thought that she was gravid. I don't know why.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Made me think of a story my friend just told me. He had an adult bearded dragon that he had raised from a baby. Instead of eating his live mouse, the beardie kept smacking it with his tail to try and get it to run. After about 20 minutes my friend figured he wasn't hungry and was just toying with the mouse. He reached in to take the mouse and his beardie latched onto his forearm and wouldn't let go. He had to run water over its head to get him to let go.

Ha that's funny! She never came at me from in the tub, just bolted out the side. She only turned to me after I had been pulling on her for 10 minutes!

Ahaha, nice. Also love that I'm not the only one that uses those plastic christmas tins as hides (what ELSE are you going to do with them when the cookies are gone? )
