Is my ball python enclosure ideal?

    Hey guys.
I just got a pastel ball python today! This is not my first ball python, but this is the youngest one I've had, and I just want to make sure this little guy is comfortable, please let me know what you think!
I have him in an 18 x 18 exo terra terrarium.
He has a water bowl that's about double his size right now.
He has two separate hides, one is a cave that has damp moss inside (I haven't seen him in there yet).
The other is a regular half log wood hide.
He has two sets of fake leaves and branches that he loves to climb on.
Last he has a massive rock and stick that stretches over some of the bottom of the tank and reaches up towards the light of he wants more heat.
I have a thermometer/humidity reader in there, and it's above the leaves and branches, towards the top of the tank.
Its super hot in New England this summer, which worries me because when I had his heat lamp on, the thermometer was climbing to 93 degrees F and may have gone higher if I didn't switch to his night bulb.
    im using 75/100W bulbs.
the humidity was right around 80% (but I just misted a few minutes before that).
Let me know what you guys think!

I don't have a lot of time right now, so someone else will probably do a more detailed look at it but I noticed a couple things.

For humidity, shoot for 50-60 with a bump before a shed. I feel like you're already doing that and the 80% reading was just because you had just misted though.

Half-log hides don't provide enough security for BPs. They really prefer to have hides completely closed in with only a small opening, and small enough that it's kind of a snug fit for them. You can use anything; the plastic bottoms for flower pots with holes cut in them work nicely. But it'd be good to replace that with something more secure. If hides offer different levels of security, they may start to choose security over thermoregulating.

I woke up this morning and his tank is at 52% humidity.
Also, the half log isn't the only hide he has, he has a snake cave hide too, which is completely enclosed except one small opening, and it has moss inside. The top comes off in case I need to get him out. He doesn't seem to like any of his hides for some reason though, he just kind of hangs out next to them in the corners or in the tree branches/vines! Not sure why!

You want your thermometer to be near the floor of the cage, so it measures the temp where the snake is.
