    Disco Lemonbacks

Thought I would share a couple of pics of some of our Disco Lemonbacks. These were hatched last year from a Super Lemonback x Disco pairing. Thanks for looking.

    Re: Disco Lemonbacks

Never heard of a Lemonback before.

Is it part of the BEL complex? I ask because the super is white.

    Pretty critter you got there.

Amazing! I would have thought it was a hypo pied. Maybe even a hypo pastel pied? Congrats, and thanks for sharing that.

    Thank you.

Lemonbacks are similar to Fires, Sulfurs and Flames. The super is a black eyed lucy.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

    Thanks!

The Disco/Fire, Sulfur, Lemonback, Flame, etc. combo IS the reason I got into the Disco project. I, like you stated haven't seen another combo where a single gene is combined Disco that I'm really impressed by. Even the Super Disco by itself doesn't register very high on the "WOW" scale, although it has a lot of value as a breeder. I do however believe that when additional genes are added to the Disco/Fire type combo you will see some impressive results. We just produced a Pastel Enchi Fire YB and I would love to see that combo with Disco added. Add OD or even better, Super OD and things should really crank up.
