    Clutter options

Not sure if this is a dumb question or not, but would fish aquarium decorations be safe to use in my BP's enclosure? Thinking in terms of the fake logs and such.

    I do know ...

    - They don't have sharp edges, so as not to injure the fish (and a snake's skin is a lot tougher than a fish's anyways )
    - It's easy enough avoiding things with holes small enough for her to get stuck in
    - They don't leach anything harmful, as anything that got into the water would go straight to a fish's gills.

The only things I'm not really sure of ...

    - Are there any chemicals used in the paint/manufacture that would be harmless to fish, yet hazardous to reptiles?
    - How would they hold up in a heated, open-air (as opposed to submerged) environment? (also ties in to above concern)

Just looking to expand my options for occasionally changing around the clutter in Manasa's tank. Most of the selection at my local pet stores is either the standard Exo-Terra fare (which I don't have the space to go crazy with) or stuff too large for her current home.

I do intend to go a little nuts when I move her into a larger (permanent) home when she outgrows her current one, but for now, space is limited if I want to keep the basic amenities (2 hides, water dish)

So much more neat (and compact) stuff available for fish

Should be fine. Fish and frogs are kind of my litmus test; if it's safe for them, it's probably safe for pretty much anything else.

Ha! I breeze by the fish aisle for this very reason - fish decor and hides also work for snakes and reptiles! They're good to go!
