Having humidity problems? Need a way to hold in humidity in a Glass Aquarium? Try Glad Press'n Seal (Exact name). This stuff is some of the greatest stuff to come along since the wheel. Simply find amount needed tear off place over top of tank and press edges down and cut off excess with a razor or knife and use scotch tape or eletrical tape to hold in place. Here is a pic to show the outcome I've been using this stuff a while now and have had nothing but great results. If you notice in the pic toward the bottom of the tank you will see moisture and that is exactly what was wanted. Also you can use it and allow your tanks to dry out a little more the BP is in shed right now so his humidity is raised some.

Good tip! I'll bet that would work well. I hope that tank's just an example, though, since it's missing a hide and temp/humidity monitoring equipment.

Look, sometimes bad things happen, and there is nothing you can do about it, so why worry?

    new addition

How does it compare to Duct tape on the top? My humidity is good at about 59-64 percent, and stays that way for a while. When it drops into the high fifties I just spray a little water in the tank to get the humidity up.

i personally like the damp towel over the top of the tank trick, but this is prob a little more aesthetically pleasing.

I used on a my tanks before i built a rack. Only bad thing it comes undone everyonce in a while. But you just have to press it back on. But it works.

Haven't run into any of that stuff but have been using clear ConTac paper instead where I need to retain humidity and gotta say I've been pleased.
