(High) Humidity Issues
I see a lot of threads about low humidity. I just moved to an area that is pretty darn humid at the moment. Indoor humidity (in the apartment is like 55-60%, but in my plastic bin, it's pretty darn humid in there sometimes going up to the mid 70s. Pretty much tried everything. More holes at the top and on the sides and all. Reduced the size of the water dish. That being said, I don't have any condensation gathering on the sides or anything and the tank itself isn't wet. I bleach out and disinfect regularly. Any advice to bring down the humidity?

Set one of those small personal fans on top of the plastic bin to draw moisture out of the bin but 70% humidity shouldn't be a problem i wouldn't think

Dry substrate. Paper towels, Aspen are good things to use when wanting to make things dryer.
You can also buy a dehumidifier... not sure how much this will help though, or how much it would cost. I have never personally used one. Keeping the apartment cool may help as well if you have anyway to do so.

Thanks for the responses! Forgot to mention: I am currently using paper towels as substrate. Might switch to newspaper if that may seem drier. Windows are open all day (we don't have air conditioning).

This is a simple fix. Place an oscillating fan on the other side of the room. Just make sure it is not pointed directly at the snakes.

As long as you don't have standing water
70% is fine. Balls can actually run pretty high humidity for quite a while. You just have to avoid moisture that breeds bacteria, ie actual standing water, soaked substrate etc. I have a humid hide set up that runs near 100% and my ball can spend a week or so in there before a shed. I also live on Lake Ontario and 80% is daily thing here. No trouble at all.

I wouldn't worry about it.
