    First clutch being laid!

I'm super excited, especially since my girl didn't keep me waiting that long (we're 29 days after her pre lay shed). So far looks like 5 good eggs, but she didn't look finished yet. I had to leave her to get to work, but I got my vermiculite yesterday and am totally ready for this when I get back home!

Crap picture is crap, but she looked about ready to come out of the tub when I peeked it open, so it's all I've got.

The total is 8! Six candled perfect, one had a weird bubble but good veins otherwise, and the littlest one that has a weird top to bottom boob egg thing going on didn't appear to have any veins when candled. Popped it in the incubator with the others, so we'll see how it turns out. Pairing was lesser bee to my big normal girl. When should I be offering her food, by the by? She looks so deflated now that she's laid.

And the weird little egg (had to split the clutch into two containers due to large eggs and small incubator).
