Our first clutch of Scaleless Heads have hatched!

We are very excited to have finally hatched out our first Scaleless Heads! We gave them a few extra days before cutting as we wanted to be able to see their heads but of course they wanted to play hide and seek in the eggs lol.
These guys are from SH X Pied so they are all 100% het Pied as well!

I could not get a good shot of them out of the egg so I will have to wait till they shed but here are a few pics from in the eggs + our breeder male

I know it is hard to see in the pics but yes these guys do have heat pits! these are not "Mircoscales" they are the real deal BHB line

I wish these pics were larger but I will make sure to post the updated shots in a larger size.

Without seeing the heads in the egg at first it was difficult but once I saw the first ones head I noticed that the pattern and scaleation was different then some of the others. With that hunch I was able to correctly identify all of the SH's in the clutch before even seeing their heads which was pretty cool!

We are very excited to start raising up a pair of these and hopefully next season make some Visual Pied Scaleless Heads.

    thanks for looking!

I did a search for "scaleless," this was one of the more relevant post that showed up. Can you give an update on the scaleless / scaleless head project? Have there been any more scaleless produced other than the original two?
