    how far apart feeding days?

can feeding day fluctuate? Can I feed 1 week say Friday and then the next day like Wednesday or Thursday if I won't be home to feed on that friday? Can some weeks be a different day as long as it's at least 5 days from last feeding?

OK thanks. does it matter what time of the day I feed? Can I feed in the morning like 10am-11am?

My BPs will eat in the morning or evening. Some people have BPs that eat only at night / they have a much higher success rate at night. It depends on your snakes, I'd say!

Yeah it the wild they don't eat every 5 days sometimes it would probably be a month before they'd be able to catch and eat. My bp will eat any day at any time, and hasn't refused to eat yet( knock on wood)

My feeding days are all over the place, haha. It's different of course when you have 10+ snakes to feed. If I knew they would all 100% eat, I'd probably do them all at once, but this way I have another mouth ready to take any rats that are refused.

Anyway, my point is that mine are all just fine getting fed on sporadic days.

Re: how far apart feeding days?

I mix up my snake's feeding days, times, quantities and prey items fairly often. There's not really a set schedule but they usually eat every 5-10 days depending on their age and the size of their last meal. Variety is the spice of life.

The age and weight of your snake would be helpful, I would try to stick to a routine as close as possible if it's a hatchling that is just getting a few consecutive feedings under it's belt. If it's an adult or close to it, then probably want a prey item large enough that it will eat regularly every week or two. If I can't feed mine for a day or two, especially if I won't be home, I'll wait till I get back, going an extra couple days or a week isn't a big deal for an adult provided husbandry is controlled and they have water, and there won't be an issue with regurge, or poop dirtying up the cage without you around to take care of it.
