Bad shed - skin still on nose and eye

My new ball python has had one shed since I've owned him and it didn't seem to go very well. He has skin still on his noes and a flap on one of his eyes, as well as some body skin still attached. He has been eating fine (once every eight days). I have struggled with the humidity a bit which is I'm sure why this is happening. I am resolving that problem but want to know what to do with his continued trouble shedding his last bits of skin. Any help would be appreciated!

Put in a hide filled with damp sphagnum moss in his tank and he'll probably get it off on his own. You can find it at most pet stores.
