    ....I literally can't get a good nights sleep... :o

After months of searching on google, looking for "ontario snake breeders" I finally found a breeder. And she's in Southern Ontario to boot(where I'm located). It's nothing short of a miracle that I found her website. It's not even completely finished. She just has a short write-up of what her sites all about, and then some "babies that couldn't wait" and are up for sale. I only found her site after clicking a random site that had a bunch of links to breeders in Canada. I clicked every freaking link, and hers was the last one. After seeing the babies, I knew I had to have one. So I emailed her and asked her exactly where in Ontario she is. I said if she's anywhere near Windsor, Chatham, London, etc, then perfect, because that's maybe an hours drive from me. She emailed me back and told me she's more near Toronto(4 hour drive ) BUT she has a friend that goes to University of Windsor, and will be going to her University home within the next month. So she said she could easily give my baby to her friend who is also good with snakes, and I could just go pick it up from her. She told me to email her back with the baby bp I wanted, and she'd reserve it for me. I emailed her back and told her the baby I wanted, and came on her site today to be shocked that she, in fact, has my baby "on hold". Next week I have to buy some stuff for the cage to be finished off, then I send her a post-dated check for the 95 dollar lovely, and either have it shipped to me, or wait a month(which I doubt I can do) and then go pick'em up. I've literally been so excited that I've found a breeder finally, that I couldn't sleep. I went to bed at 8am...and woke up at 12 noon.

K, wow....this is a needlessly long thread....so yeah...just me blowing off some "excitement" I guess. Congrats to anyone who actually read all this

Edit: Oh crap! Forgot...heres a link to her site incase you wanna see the baby I reserved. He/she's the top one that's "on hold"...I chose that one because something about the bits of white in the pattern stood out to me...I dunno..I just liked'em

And she also has a part of her site for her art...I may have to grab one of her dragon sculptures too.

Good for you, Cody. Glad you found a breeder. Keep us posted on how it goes.

EDIT: How old are they? It's hard to really tell the size sometimes from just a picture.

Aren't those Canadian dollars? That's still a bit much even if you convert it to US dollars, but I paid 100 dollars for mine, and he was worth every penny.

How's this for my new crestie?

Really 95 dollars isn't expensive for a ball python here in Canada. Like another Canadian poster here said, most of the time they're priced around 150 canadian. So the fact that it's around 95, and it's from a good breeder...it's worth the money. It was either buy an 80 dollar ball from a reptile store where I have a good chance of getting it with mites and eating problems, or pay the extra 15 dollars and get it from a nice breeder, with all info on the parents and pics, all record sheets from the baby, less chance of having mites and feeding problems, and a breeder to help me out if/when I have any problems.

As for the size of the snakes, I'd say they're probably still little youngsters. She refers to them as "babies" and yeah they look a little big in the pics, but pics can be deceiving without anything in the picture as a size reference. She's supposed to email me sometime next week with info on when I can pick up the snakey from her friend in Windsor, so I can ask her the size then.
