    Talking Lumping!

So, my lovely Pastel Lesser has been doing this lately:

Yay! Does this mean the pairing was successful, or should I keep pairing them? This is my first breeding attempt, so I'm not sure! I'm pretty excited, though.

Yes you are getting close, if I were you I would be getting my incubator ready just in case.

She is going into shed now. Is this probably the pre-lay shed? Shed and then 30 days until eggs?

    This is totally awesome.

Keep pairing in my opinion but definitely headed in the right direction and keep feeding her small meals often. I stop pairing when I am certain they have ovulated or are just about to.

    Re: Lumping!

I have a question... How big does a pregnant BP look? It has been 14 days since her (possible) pre-lay shed and she doesn't look much different than she normally looks. When do they start looking big? Should she already look big?

I have tried to palpate and will try again, I am just no good at it yet. I have never palpated a pregnant BP so I don't have any experience to go off of.
