How do you clean the poo and pee from that? Also wont he get belly rot with all that wet moss?

Re: New pair Solomon Island Ground Boas
I researched about them before I set up enclosures...the moss is not soaking wet...I mist once a week. They need relatively high humidity as per what I have read. The moss is easy and cheap. So far no issues with cleaning...but any and all advice will be appreciated since it is my first pair of Solomons.

Nice looking setup. Throw a couple branches in there to give them a dry place to sit if they want and you should be golden. Grats on them, pretty cool looking boas.

The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Another trick you can use that I know a lot of GTP and ETB guys do is make a pvc tube 'tree'. I made one for my sunglow. just go to Home Depot and buy a 10' pvc pipe. Then get the joints you want to make the bends and use their self cut area and cut the sizes you want. of course this means planning it out on paper at home first so you know exactly what joints and lengths you need. then use a propane torch to scorch the pvc to give it that wood look. Do it outside obviously as the fumes aren't good. You can also splash water on the pvc before you scorch to give it more patterns. The scorching gives texture for your snakes to hold onto as well as the wood 'look'. Google it and there are directions on their of exactly how to do it.
