I love my snakes! (photo heavy)

I have ball fever! I love my snakes and think they are the best. I also want one of every other morph too!

I only have one problem. Well ok two, lack of money and i can't get correct color in photos.

Instead of using my phone camera i tried using a fancy digital point and shoot. Still the color isn't correct, i may end up bringing out the slr and hoping there is still somewhere that sells and processes film.

    Without further ado...

    My enchi spider hypo

    super enchi het hypo

Very disappointed with what my camera saw Of my super enchi.

So i started playing with settings and features, and i found one that says "toy camera". color wise what i see is somewhere between the above photos and these "toy camera" photos. Minus the vignetting.

    pastel enchi

pastel enchi didn't get very many individual photos either, as the camera made him look washed out.

A couple "toy camera" shots looked cool.

The last image is the closest to his real color.

She looks a bit dry and its due to shed soon.

She's "just a pastel" but i seem to think there is something special about her.

Re: I love my snakes! (photo heavy)

I've heard from reptile photographers that the white balance should be adjusted. I can't try it yet cuz I'm still waiting for my first snake!
    <insert witty comment here>

"GEORGE! You did it AGAIN! You forgot to change the signature! We can't keep having these mistakes slip by you."
"Well there wasn't nuthin funny to write."
"This is your JOB! If you're too incompatible to figure it out, then -- Where are you going?"
    "O'er here."
    "WHY? I'm SPEAKING TO YOU!"
    "To write sum signatures."
    "NO!"
    "But look--"
"AUUUGH! LOOK HOW MANY YOU LET GO AWAY TO ACCOUNTS WITHOUT CUSTOMIZATION!"
    "I wuz tryna warn you."
    "GEEOOORGEEE!!"

Love all the enchi stuff! Taking photos of snakes, especially hypo combos, can be extremely frustrating at times.

    thank you all.

I've always been super critical of my photos.

I agree the hypo seems to trick the camera.

I have found that natural light is always better than artificial. Otherwise, good luck! My camera seems to have issues focusing on the scale pattern
