Satins happen to be the line of black pastel I work with, and it may be my monitor, but I have to admit, there isn't a lot of resemblance. The lightness, the gold rather than copper color, and the markings kinda bother me. However, one of my babies from a few years ago was also rather bright (not as bright, but brighter than usual). Hence, my request for more pics of your girl.
Most definitely. I just got her as a pet and I like regular black pastels anyway so I'm not really tripping if she's just a regular black pastel. Would love your input tho. Sorry for the bad pics, she wouldn't hold still.

Nice! Oh, the pics are fine. Like I say, I'm still struck by the light gold color. She likely is a Satin if that's what you bought her as -- I've seen a very light one, as well, though not as bright as your girl. Her blushing may become more noticeable as she grows. Pet or breeder, she's lovely! Always like seeing folks' black pastels
