Non feeding 6 month old bp advice?
Hi just looking for some advice as above recently brought 2 female normals 1 has been eating fine the other hasn't fed since bring home about a month. I know it's normal for bp's to go off feed specially in a new environment we have a female adult pastel a adult male bumble bee and and young lesser bee to but just a bit concerned as she is very small only weighing 84grams now where as the sister is now 150+ they live together and have since hatching but are boxed at feeding time
thanks for your time

"They live together". That's more then likely your problem; it's stressing the smaller snake and it has quit eating. Separate them and she'll more then likely start eating.

First thing would be to get them all their own homes. They are solitary animals and will stress each other out when put together. With the size difference the larger one is likely pushing the smaller around. Make sure temps are setup properly, ~80 ambient with 90 hot spot, and humidity 50-60%.
Was the nonfeeding one eating from where you bought them?
Perhaps try leaving her in her own cage when she's comfortable for feeding rather than adding the stress of moving.

I just seperated the two of them now so best to let her settle and try feeding next week ?

Keep an eye on her weight.
Bestyou can do till she is ready to eat.
She has eaten correct?

Make sure you get them both nice, tight fitting hides as well. It will help the security issues.

Some of what I'm about to say has already been said in response, but I must reiterate.
1. Separate housing is a must.
2. try loosely wadding up some news paper to fill 2 thirds of her enclosure. The ability to hide will greatly reduce her stress level.
3. do not box feed. the act of moving her from her regular surroundings will increase her stress.
4. try feeding her a live mouse hopper. the movement of the hopper will keep her attention.
5. ensure that humidity stays around 50-60 %
6. ensure temps are at the correct range.
7. have her checked out by a vet that is familiar with snakes.
Good Luck, keep us informed of her progress.
