    "Worth it"?

I know the question is subjective at best, since everyone has different opinions and since I would be the one owning the snake, it's really up to how I feel. I know how I feel, but I wanted to see what others opinions were.
I happened to come across a pied on Craigslist. Listed as a male, says he eats every week. Looks 200 grams, maybe more maybe less. Owner says he's having to leave the state on short notice and needs to find a home for the snake. He's asking $125, the ad said he'd consider less but in our conversation he said he's had four others contact him, so he'd like to stay at his asking price. Of course if I go to meet him, I would check to see if he's active and healthy and would give him an extra long QT once home. The guy isn't pressuring a sale at all, just says to contact him if I decide I want him.
I just wanted to see if you would "jump on it" on "pass it by".
    Here's some pics he posted

If the deal is face to face I'd give it a shot. I would not risk shipping.

$125 is a very good price for a snake. You will know it is healthy when you see it. I paid $400 for my pied and where I live that is the cheapest you can get a pied... so I would jump on it.

I'd jump on him for that price. In other comments this seller obviously doesn't know much about what he's got going by the crazy low price and the fact he's giving a ball python that size fuzzy mice.

Well i would ask how old he is. That gives you an idea about how well he's fed and taken care for.

I'm one of those few people who really like low white pieds (and that comes from someone who owns a BEL). If i could take an extensive look at the snake, seeking for all the usual "Go" signs, i would definitely get him.

I would say meet the guy and see if you fall in love with the little one.

I would definitely check it out if its local. I got my high white pied girl for $200 local on a deal and she was labeled a problem eater and biter. She never bit me and went from 12" 102g to 3' 1028g in 4 months so good deals are out there. In the picture though he is definitely being fed too small of food lol. Nice looking color but I prefer high white pieds unless its something like a clown pied or something with crazy patterns.

They tend to go for a lot more around here, if it's healthy, and I were in the market, would definitely go for it.

Very cute pied. I'd pick him up if I had the QT space, and if I was in the market for a male pied. And since he's down the road, even better! Since he looks to be eating, that's a good sign as well! . To really put your mind at ease, use the money you saved on getting a steal of a deal on a vet trip to have him checked out.
