It's that time of year again. This time Charlotte laid seven eggs, all healthy. Same pairing as before.
She is in a better rack system now, instead of a homemade one. The eggs are not being touched by the substrate at all. I feel that this time around the humidity will be better controlled, resulting in less dehydrated eggs.
I plan on offering her a frozen/thawed rat tomorrow, since her feeding response is so good when she's on eggs. She's generally a mouser, but has taken rats on occasion, and ate several young rats right before she ovulated this time, almost like she was eating up so that she COULD ovulate.
