    Re: New Parent; Help!

I apologize, I did start a new thread as I was not sure how to delete this one. If you have instructions, I would like this one deleted. I have receive so much detail and am currently receiving advice on the red tail boa forum. Thank you so much! I'm glad I have a couple of years to prepare for the size he will be, but he's my keeper. I shall call him Rue and he shall be my Rue

Rather than delete it, I'll lock it and give a link to the new thread:

    http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...ew-Parent-Help!

I'd like this thread to stay up as an example of how confusing snake identification can be to those new to snake keeping, and how sellers can so easily misrepresent what they are offering, either intentionally or out of ignorance. But personally, if someone has enough experience to have a snake in their possession and then turn around and sell it to someone else, if they are ignorant about its species (and therefore its care needs, at the very least), then their ignorance is due to malicious negligence.

I'm very glad you're seeking help and learning about your new critter. Good luck with it!!
